Help for “saviors”

Moved by the challenging circumstances faced by medical workers and police officers during the winter COVID-19 lockdown in Nur-Sultan, I launched a small project to demonstrate our support and provide humanitarian aid to these frontline heroes. As my own mother is a doctor, the sight of these dedicated professionals braving the freezing cold at checkpoints struck a personal chord with me, and I was inspired to take action.

Together with a friend, we decided to take matters into our own hands and extend a helping hand to those working tirelessly at the checkpoints near the boundary of Nur-Sultan. We prepared food, hot drinks, and electric heating pads to provide warmth and comfort to the police officers and doctors stationed there. Our goal was to show our appreciation and gratitude for their selfless service and dedication during the challenging times.

Despite the limitations posed by the lockdown, we were determined to make a difference. We carefully followed all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring that our efforts were in compliance with the regulations in place.
