The Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership (HICSL) is a science and education non-profit located on Hurricane Island in Penobscot Bay, Maine. The Center provides experiential, hands-on education programs and research opportunities focusing on marine sciences, STEM education, human ecology, sustainable living technology, citizen science initiatives, and leadership in environmental stewardship for all ages from middle school to adults.
