Jefferson Tenorio

We have trained over 100 young leaders on leadership and human rights development. We have conducted over 40 workshops for over 350 people every other week in the most vulnerable places in Cali on peace-building. We have also sponsored art festivals with crowds of over 700 people to bring art and culture to the most dangerous neighborhoods of Cali, Buenaventura, and Tumaco. Our services are based on the SDGs Agenda (2030) proposed by the United Nations (UN), promoting young people’s political and economic empowerment through cooperation, innovation, entrepreneurship, work community, and sorority.

We engage teenagers and youngsters ages 14 to 28, especially those who live in the most dangerous, violent, and vulnerable places of Santiago de Cali. We address human rights violations to help vulnerable youth at risk of being murdered by gangs because of drug trafficking. We offer them a training program that takes six months, learning leadership, human rights, environment, sexuality, culture & art issues where they feel empowered and helpful to become positive societal leaders. Our services are unique because our leaders are from communities that experience violence. We also work with the community to promote sustainability and a lasting peace culture in each territory, strengthening the leadership and initiatives contributing to this commitment.
