Essymart is a digital (web-App and call centre) marketplace that bridges the gap between smallholder farmers and manufacturers of agro-inputs and farmers & buyers for their produce by sourcing genuine, quality and affordable farm inputs direct from manufacturers and from farmers to buyers of agricultural produce.
We connect these products/services to smallholder farmers in rural areas of Mayuge, Agronomy Training, and Input Delivery services so that they can build better, brighter futures for themselves and their families. Essymart enables smallholder farmers to order products at any time, through the Essymart web-App that is accessible on desktop and mobile and call Center this works for farmers who do not have smartphones.
Customers call in directly and they are assisted in successfully placing orders for farm inputs. We fondly call ourselves Family. At our core, Essymart is a Technology-driven agricultural social enterprise passionate about ensuring global food security and poverty eradication.
Having understood the complexity of agrarian distress, we have come up with a holistic model which provides end-to-end post-harvest services to farmers through a digital platform (Essymart). We collaborate with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and Village Agripreneurs (VAs) to deliver these services at their farm gate.
This integrated model not only helps farmers in increasing their income by reducing post-harvest expenses but also offers better prices for their produce.
