Creating a community of sustainable travellers, this is the objective of the Global Green Traveller, a project developed by the Brazilian Pablo Mingoti, a resident of Florianópolis. The idea for the initiative came after he joined the United People Global community. The project is entirely online, through social media, and in the future, through a website. In addition, there are possibilities to create actions with organizations and governments in Brazil and even in the world.
“In Brazil, we have good examples of sustainable destinations and attractions that deserve to be shared. With the pandemic, tourism has decreased, but I believe that sustainable tourism, in open spaces, tends to be the future”, says Pablo Mingoti. A website is under construction and, in the long term, the project could become a platform for sustainable tourism education. The project shares tips and curiosities about sustainable tourism, inviting influencers and experts who understand the subject.
Among the guests is Heloisa Schurmann, from the Schurmann Family, who sent a video describing her experiences during the trips. She is a sailor, teacher, writer and speaker, known for raising her four children by travelling the world aboard a sailboat.

-create a feeling of pleasure, and gratitude, in the traveller, while travelling respecting local cultures and the environment.
