Empowering Vulnerable Households

The National Social Economic Registry (NSER) of Pakistan recently conducted a comprehensive survey aimed at determining the economic conditions of households across the country. The main objective of this survey was to identify vulnerable households and individuals who are struggling to afford basic needs, with a particular focus on poor families and females.

Through meticulous data collection and analysis, the NSER survey identified households that are facing economic hardships and are in need of assistance. The survey took into account various socio-economic indicators.

The findings of the NSER survey shed light on the dire economic conditions faced by many households in Pakistan, particularly those living in poverty. It revealed that a significant number of families, including females, are unable to meet their basic needs and are struggling to make ends meet.

As a result of the NSER survey, the Government of Pakistan has taken concrete steps to empower these vulnerable households. One such initiative is the provision of cash transfers every six months to eligible poor families, based on the survey findings.
