Established in 2014, the California Activity Club (CAC) is a Conversation Club with a dynamic platform designed to facilitate English language learning by exploring American culture. Created by a group of Access program alumni, US department alumni, and American Egyptian youth, our club aims to provide Egyptian youth with a unique space for dialogue and discovery.
Our vision is to create an interactive environment where Egyptian youth can engage in meaningful conversations and gain a deeper understanding of diversity and inclusion in the United States. Through engaging workshops and simulation models, we strive to foster an appreciation for different perspectives and cultures.
Our mission is to build a community of university students equipped with the ability to communicate effectively in the English language while possessing a comprehensive understanding of American culture. To achieve this mission, we expose our members to a rich array of American content, ensuring they receive a substantial dose of cultural immersion.
At the Conversation Club, we believe in the power of active engagement and hands-on learning. Through a variety of interactive activities, discussions, and workshops, we encourage our members to actively participate and practice their English language skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
