African Hearts Community Organization (AfriHCO) is an NGO in Uganda that works with orphaned and vulnerable young people to help them to become fully developed individuals, contributing to society. The organization’s target population is children who live on the street, many of them are orphaned by HIV or abandoned or victimized by family violence. AfriHCO’s story begins with a decision to stop pretending not to see their needs. African Hearts believes that there are three ways that everyone can help: 1) Pray, 2) Go and 3) Give.

In Detail: African Hearts Community Organization is determined to make a positive influence on the future of Uganda beginning with those who are most vulnerable, the children. African Hearts was founded by Ugandans with a focus to provide for, educate and train Ugandans to rebuild the country from within and on a firm foundation of God’s Word through Jesus Christ. People and organizations from outside of Uganda have caught our African Hearts vision and have partnered with us to provide aid and assistance to the people of Uganda. African Hearts believes that there are three ways that everyone can help: 1) Pray, 2) Go and 3) Give.
