Afghan Mini Summit

The Afghan Women Human Rights Mini Summit was a virtual lecture and debate that aimed to raise awareness among Afghan women about their basic rights, including education, work, and thoughts. The summit lasted for 3 hours and featured 4 guest speakers from Afghanistan, Russia, Botswana, and Pakistan.

The event began with a brief lecture on basic human rights, followed by discussions on the status of human rights, particularly women’s rights, in the respective countries of the guest speakers. Over 20 Afghan girls participated in the summit, sharing their experiences and ideas about human rights and women’s rights.

The summit provided a platform for participants to engage in meaningful discussions and exchange ideas about the challenges and opportunities related to human rights in Afghanistan. In recognition of their participation, all participants were awarded virtual participation certificates, acknowledging their commitment to advancing human rights in their communities.
