Graduation programs as a means of improving community livelihoods and fighting poverty, an initiative that aims to improve the life of an individual as well as his/her immediate family and then the entire community.
The idea of implementing a “graduate program” within the communities in pursuit of entrepreneurship came to mind in 2019. This is the idea that is intended to go into the Communities and recruit members of the vulnerable groups such as child-headed families; women-headed families and families that are struggling with poverty since no one is economically active.
So the idea is to bring them into the program and give them skills development; expose them to entrepreneurial opportunities and after training in the near future help them to seek out necessary funding so that they can establish viable businesses that will improve their life prospects
This idea was best after having studied several graduate programs that have been implemented across Africa. The target groups are Lesotho rural communities.
