We believe that women are the bedrock of any nation. When women are empowered, they have the potential to make positive contributions not only to their families but also to economic growth, while reducing gender-based violence against women and girls.

With this vision in mind, we have launched the “Skill a Woman” project in Calabar South, aimed at equipping local community women with entrepreneurial skills. We believe that by providing women with the tools and resources to become self-reliant, we can help them break free from economic dependence and create sustainable livelihoods.

Through the “Skill a Woman” project, we provide training and support in various entrepreneurial skills, such as business planning, financial management, marketing, and product development. We also offer mentorship and guidance to help women start and grow their own businesses.

By empowering women with entrepreneurial skills, we not only enable them to become financially independent, but we also promote gender equality and reduce the prevalence of gender-based violence in their communities. Economic empowerment of women has been proven to be a powerful tool in addressing gender-based violence, as it increases women’s ability to make decisions, assert their rights, and escape abusive situations.

Join us in our efforts to empower women, promote economic growth, and reduce gender-based violence against women and girls. Together, we can create a better future where women are empowered and gender equality is realized.
