Amigo Monitor

As a result of the advent of COVID-19, individuals in every region of the globe had difficulties. One of the sectors that had suffered the greatest damage was education since many schools had been closed for an extended period and reopening posed a challenge as they found that they were unprepared to provide online lessons. This sole reason inspired my initiative named Amigo Monitor

I came up with the concept of linking students who study remotely with others who are interested in volunteering as monitors; we named this platform Amigo Monitor. All Brazilian state pupils in sixth through ninth grades were eligible for our free monitoring service. I and my team had already booked more than 100 monitors in only three months, and our network here in Brazil included more than 300 volunteer monitors who keep an eye on things.

We believe that education is the key to changing realities and giving people more opportunities to impact others. Education to me feels like a circular system and my dream is to have a monitor in the future that is currently being influenced by Amigo Monitor with free monitoring and wants to return to educating others, as he is learning today.
