Creating Engaging Lessons through the Use of Supplemental Resource Materials is a virtual discussion (webinar-type event) which presents the importance of having a more interactive class discussion even through an online mode and to keep the students engaged.
This is open to educators who would like to have more awareness about this issue. This event has been conducted locally and internationally and has reached 165,482 views via YouTube, and is open to be re-conducted in different scenarios, topics may also be adjusted depending on the need of the group.
Keeping the students interested and engaged during online classes can be challenging for educators. This virtual discussion talks about the use of supplementary resource materials; the purpose, features, and characteristics, characteristics of supplementary resource materials; and the things to be considered in selecting the most appropriate supplementary materials. This is key to enhancing the learning of the students and maintaining the effectiveness of online class delivery.
