Led by me, Navid Bin Ahmed, we the Team Nokkhotro (Sunshine) work to improve employment and healthcare opportunities across Bangladesh during this challenging time. Good Jobs & Economic Growth, and Good Health are two of the SDGs to make the world a better place for living. Our vision is to enable people to access IT and ITES to avail them of enormous opportunities to improve their lifestyles.
So far, 110+ people regardless of gender, and community barriers have taken our interactive session with proven value added to their existing knowledge domain giving room to apply IT to get better living opportunities. We also helped them get Covid19 vaccination and created awareness about dos & don’ts regarding vaccination. In addition, we trained them on how to avail better remote employment opportunities to survive with families during such global challenging times.
We have received, by far 85% of positive feedback that our organisation and team could bring in a change in their mindset. We are also determined to follow up on their progress till they are fully adapted. As the next approach, our team is going to extend services by providing training and workshops on cyber security & safe internet use for children, CV writing, remote learning platform as a backup during the period when schools are closed due to the pandemic, and helping transgender communities ensure a better living.
