World Cleanup Day is a global movement that unites millions of individuals and organizations in a collective effort to combat the environmental crisis. This annual event encourages us all to become active citizens and take concrete steps towards a cleaner, healthier planet. As a passionate advocate for environmental stewardship, I was thrilled to join forces with Decathlon in my home city to participate in this impactful initiative.
Our target for the day was the beautiful Tghat forest in Fez City Morocco, which had fallen victim to pollution and neglect. Together with a dedicated team of colleagues, we embarked on a mission to restore some of its natural beauty. Armed with gloves, bags, and a shared commitment to environmental conservation, we spent the day collecting litter, clearing pathways, and breathing new life into this precious green space.
World Cleanup Day is not just about cleaning up litter; it’s about raising awareness and inspiring lasting change. It’s about recognizing our interconnectedness with nature and understanding that our actions have a significant impact on the environment.
Let us all commit to being active citizens and environmental stewards in our daily lives. Every small action, from reducing our plastic consumption to supporting local environmental initiatives, contributes to a healthier planet for generations to come.

Let us advocate for World Cean Up Day which is equally important to other celebrated days like, World Toilet Day, World Refugee Day, World Water Day, and etc that are celebrated globally.
