Empowering Young Minds: “One Run” Initiative Fosters Growth in Border Communities

The “One Run” initiative, spearheaded by the Hurry to the Good Foundation, is a beacon of hope for children living in border communities. This transformative summer camp offers a unique opportunity for 300 children to expand their horizons and develop essential life skills. Through a diverse range of workshops and business-related knowledge sessions, the camp aims to equip these young minds with the tools they need to become future leaders and contribute meaningfully to their communities’ development.

Held in the picturesque Ziphur vacation area of Hanawan, the camp provides a nurturing environment for learning and growth. The Hurry to the Good Foundation ensures a seamless experience for all participants by covering all expenses, including transportation, accommodation, food, and essential medical services. This holistic approach fosters a sense of security and allows children to fully immerse themselves in the learning experience.

As a dedicated volunteer, I had the privilege of contributing to the success of this inspiring initiative. I spent three days assisting with the meticulous planning and preparation leading up to the camp. During the marathon event itself, I was stationed at the food station, ensuring all participants remained well-nourished and energized throughout the day.

The “One Run” initiative is more than just a summer camp; it is a seed of change, nurturing the potential of young minds and empowering them to become agents of transformation within their communities. By providing access to quality education and fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship, this program is creating a brighter future for these children and their families.
