I was thrilled to learn that over 25 of my fellow students from our university have been selected for the prestigious UPG Sustainability Leadership Program 2024. This inspiring news was further amplified by the achievements of Habibur Rahman Masrur, a fellow batch mate who, as a certified UPG leader, recently participated in the Hurricane Island Program. Masrur’s incredible journey serves as a powerful testament to the transformative impact of the UPG program and has inspired many of us to pursue similar opportunities.
Inspired by Masrur’s success, I felt compelled to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with other students interested in UPG. To this end, I organized a mini-training session where I introduced them to the UPG program and its core principles. I emphasized the importance of sustainability and explored the four pillars of the UPG framework, encouraging my fellow students to consider how they can contribute to a more sustainable future.
This experience has been incredibly rewarding. By sharing my knowledge and inspiring others to pursue their own UPG journeys, I hope to contribute to a growing community of young leaders who are passionate about creating a more sustainable and equitable world.
