I had the distinct honour of representing Gross International Nature (GIN) at the Climate Action Champion Network (CACN) in Kathmandu, Nepal. This significant program brought together a diverse group of climate enthusiasts from across the South Asian region, united by a shared commitment to combating the climate crisis and achieving social justice.
The CACN served as a vital platform for fostering collective action and promoting sustainable solutions to the climate crisis. Participants engaged in insightful discussions, shared best practices and forged valuable partnerships to address the multifaceted challenges posed by climate change.
As an organization dedicated to promoting transboundary environmental solutions, GIN wholeheartedly supports initiatives like the CACN. We believe that addressing the climate crisis requires a collaborative and multi-faceted approach that transcends national borders.
The CACN in Kathmandu was a truly inspiring experience. It reaffirmed our commitment to working with like-minded organizations to address the urgent challenges of climate change. By fostering international cooperation and empowering a new generation of climate champions, we can create a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
