Empowering Action: A Mini-Training on the SDGs at United People Global

As the newly appointed Sustainable Development Leader at United People Globals, I embarked on my journey by conducting a mini-training session focused on “Awareness of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Integrated into UPG Projects.” This interactive session aimed to empower participants with the knowledge and tools to identify critical challenges and develop innovative solutions aligned with the SDGs.

A key highlight of the training was the “problem tree” activity. Participants were encouraged to identify a pressing social or environmental issue within their community. Through collaborative brainstorming, they delved deeper, exploring the root causes of the problem and analyzing its potential consequences. This in-depth analysis then served as the foundation for proposing innovative project solutions that directly addressed the identified SDG.

The session fostered a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Participants actively engaged in discussions, shared their insights, and collectively explored potential solutions. This collaborative approach not only enhanced their understanding of the SDGs but also equipped them with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to develop impactful projects that contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future.

This mini-training served as a valuable starting point for my role as Sustainable Development Leader at UPG. By fostering a deeper understanding of the SDGs and empowering individuals with the tools to address global challenges, we can collectively work towards a more sustainable and equitable world.
