Covid 19 in Sheikhupura, Pakistan

A lot of individuals had an extremely tough time during the epidemic (sic), but those who lived in rural regions had it much worse than those who lived in cities. The era in which people were compelled to withdraw from society and stay inside their houses made day-to-day life much more challenging for many people.

As a result of the demands brought on by the epidemic, a significant number of individuals did not have access to even the most basic supplies. People were suffering a slew of economic and societal problems as a result of the spread of Covid 19. They were disturbed and were unable to meet their ends.

To this aim, I was motivated to take action and engage the community in order to determine what kind of assistance I might provide to help others improve their lives and, as a result, their circumstances. I organized a food drive in Sheikhupura, Pakistan, as a member of a student-run organization called “SKPIAN Frame”.

Almost 36 members of this society volunteered to distribute ration packs to 100 needy families (500 people impacted). The entire project was funded by the frame’s funds as well as donations from those who wanted to help. Everyone who took part was delighted with the results and decided to expand it to its full potential next year so that even more people could benefit.
