Around Afghanistan over 11 million people are illiterate. girls don’t go to school because of gender bias, social conflicts, economic pressures and early marriages. We want to support both girls and boys around Afghanistan.
I have an idea to create an educational system which will be called “simple school” to help manage illiteracy. This action is in line with one of the Sustainable Development Goals. The school duration will be 6 years from the first class up to the sixth class. Each class would last 2-3 hours per day. The basic subjects of this school are a native and international language, simple math, history, Geography, Religious stories and an awareness program. Children must be 15 years old or older to join the school.
This idea will benefit illiterate people and provide them with knowledge based on writing, reading and arithmetic. In addition, they will be equipped with the right resources to become gainfully employed or create self-employment opportunities.
