The Numfor Solange Foundation, NSF, in partnership with several key organizations, spearheaded an impactful tree-planting project in Limbe. The tree-planting exercise strategically targeted several areas:
- Road stretch from Bobende – Mokundange – Limbola localities: Planting trees along this route will not only beautify the area but also combat soil erosion and improve air quality.
- Bakingili locality: Expanding green spaces within the community contributes to a healthier environment for residents.
- School premises: Trees planted around the schools create a more pleasant learning environment and provide shade for students.
This initiative transcended a simple tree-planting exercise. By actively involving students from both schools, the NSF fostered a sense of environmental responsibility and ownership among the younger generation. This aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting climate action and encouraging inclusive participation in environmental conservation efforts.
The dedication of the NSF serves as an inspiration to us all. Together, we can create a greener and more sustainable future for our world.
