Quenching the Heat: A Summer Relief Drive

On a scorching day in Karachi, Pakistan the Dow College of Pharmacy (DCOP) took a proactive step to provide relief to those most vulnerable to the heatwave. On May 29, 2024, the college organized a relief drive, distributing refreshing drinks like juices and water to individuals who are often exposed to the harsh elements.

The initiative targeted a diverse group of people, including security guards, janitors, patients, labourers, and food delivery riders. By offering much-needed hydration, DCOP aimed to alleviate the discomfort and potential health risks associated with extreme heat.

This simple act of kindness highlights the power of community and the importance of supporting those in need. By taking such initiatives, we can make a positive impact on society, one small step at a time.
