On May 30th, the Health Related Conferences Society, DGSC, and the Directorate of Global Engagement at Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) joined forces to commemorate World No Tobacco Day. The event featured a special seminar on the “Dangers of Tobacco Use” and a vibrant “Tobacco-Free Gala.”
The seminar illuminated the serious health consequences of tobacco use, raising awareness among the student community. The Gala, filled with delicious food, engaging games, and exciting prizes, provided a fun and interactive platform to reinforce the message of a tobacco-free lifestyle.
By organizing this event, the organizers aimed to empower individuals to make informed choices and adopt healthier habits. The event’s success was a testament to the collective effort of the DUHS students and faculty in promoting a tobacco-free campus and a healthier society.
