In celebration of Earth Day 2024, the Green Youth Movement-Dow University of Health Sciences (GYM-DUHS) took a proactive step towards environmental conservation. On April 27th, the organization organized a beach cleanup drive at Seaview, one of Karachi’s most polluted coastal areas.
Students from across DUHS enthusiastically participated in this noble endeavour, demonstrating their dedication to preserving the environment. Their efforts were instrumental in removing significant amounts of waste from the beach, contributing to a cleaner and healthier coastal ecosystem.
